Van Veldhuizen Services Held Monday p.m.

Aart Van Veldhuizen, 72, retired Rock Valley farmer, died Friday morning at the Sioux Center hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services were held at Rock Valley Monday afternoon with the Rev. John Van Zweden officiating. Burial was in Valley View cemetery.

Mr. Van Veldhuizen was born May 6, 1892 in The Netherlands. He married Cornelia Brower on Feb. 17, 1916 at Canton, S.D. and after retiring they moved to California. They returned to Rock Valley last September.

Survivors are the widow; sons, John and Arthur of Doon, Joe, Peter and Jasper of Rock Rapids, Cornie of Hull and Arie of Ellsworth, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Herman Koops of Artesia, Calif. and Mrs. George Rus of Armour, S.D.; 36 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and two brothers, John of Artesia and Johan of The Netherlands.
