Estate of Winifred Van Wechel, Deceased: Notice in probate issued for August 14 at 10 a.m. Miss Van Wechel died May 30, 1950 at Coral Gables, Florida.

From the Sioux County Capital, August 17, 1950:

The will of Winifred Van Wechel was admitted to probate and G. J. Slobe was appointed executrix with bond of $5,000. The will left $1,000 to be used for the care "of any dogs or cats which are left by me as my pets." All the rest of the estate was left to a brother John.
