Dr. Lynn L. Walker, 87, died Monday, July 7, 2008, at the Linn Community Nursing Home, Linn. He was cremated and a graveside service will be conducted later at the Ireton City Cemetery, Ireton.
Lynn Walker was born at Ireton, June 1, 1921, to Phillip & Cora Reigel Walker. He attended Ireton schools and graduated in 1938. He attended Westmar College in LeMars, and Palmer Chiropractic College, Davenport, Iowa, where he graduated in 1942. He practiced chiropractic in Texas, Blue Rapids and Waterville. He married Thelma Reid in Ireton, October 25, 1941. He was active in the Blue Rapids Presbyterian Church, taught Sunday School and was a Boy Scout leader. He was a member of the Kansas Chiropractic Association and Order of the Arrow.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tom, in March 2001, and one brother Darwin.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma, Linn; one son, David, Topeka; two grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.
