MRS. ALICE WARREN DIES AT AGE OF 63

Funeral services for a former Hawarden resident, Mrs. Alice E. Warren, 63, sister of Elmer Ericson, who died Tuesday of last week [Nov. 30?] at Findlay, Ohio, were held at 1:30 Friday afternoon at the First Methodist church there, Dr. Louis Wolter officiating. Interment was made at Maple Grove cemetery at Findlay.

Alice Ericson was born January 20, 1902, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Ericsen of rural Hawarden. She was graduated from Hawarden high school and the State University of Iowa at Iowa City.

She taught half a year at Sioux Center when she married Fred H. Warren and they lived in Indianapolis and Cleveland before moving to Findlay.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Anne Miller of Cleveland; a son, John, of Berkeley, Calif.; five sisters, Hulda, Della and Ann Ericson, all of Sioux Falls, Mrs. Robert Paramore of Quincy, Ill., and Mrs. Margaret Broadley of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Elmer, of Hawarden, and three grandchildren.

Elmer Ericsen and his sister, Miss Ann Ericsen of Sioux Falls, flew to Findlay to attend the funeral.
