Rites Held For Mrs. Erickson

Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence Erickson, 58, longtime resident here who died Saturday [June 2] at the Hawarden hospital, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Associated church, Rev. John C. Thorns officiating. Burial was at the Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Barnard Funeral home.

Mrs. Ralph Gregg jr., sang "My God and I" and "Beyond the Sunset." Casket bearers included Conrad Falde, Warren French, Lee Keehn, Guy Hodgson, Robert Keehn, and Harley Marshall.

Mrs. Erickson was born December 6, 1897, at Creston, N.C. She came to Hawarden as a young woman. She married Lawrence Erickson in 1920. She was a member of the Entre Nous and the Sewing class of the Associated church.

Survivors are the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Heideprien; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Welsh, Mrs. Mabelle Brown, and Miss Mary Tucker, all of Lansing, N.C.; two brothers, Henry Tucker of Teton, Idaho and Frank Tucker of Dillon, Mont.; and two grandchildren.
