The mother of Henry Schilmoeller of near Granville died at her home in New Vienna, last week, and the funeral was held in that city last Tuesday. She will be well remembered by a great many Sioux county people who were old neighbors and friends of Mrs. Schilmoeller before their removal from Dubuque county.
(According to an on line account This was Josephine Krogmann b. 23 Sep 1822 in Germany died May 1898, she was married to Herman ‘Henry’ Schilmoeller 1820-1907.Their children were – John Henry, Elizabeth, Bernhard, Hermann, and Joseph. )
