John W. Wallenburg, 65, Rock Valley, died Sunday, November 23, at a hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

Services were at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday in the First Christian Reformed Church at Rock Valley. The Rev. Roger Bultman officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery under direction of the Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley.

Mr. Wallenburg was born Feb. 5, 1915, at Rock Valley.

He married Nellie Feenstra, Dec. 28, 1937, at Inwood. He worked as a machinst at a farm implement factory at Rock Valley.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Gerald of Inwood and John Jr. of Rock Valley; two daughters, Mrs. Gerrit (Eunice) Teunnisen of Hardwick, MN, and Mrs. Edward (Gertrude) De Jong of Littleton, CO; two brothers, Tony of Ontario, CA, and Wilfred of Hills, MN; and three sisters, Mrs. Cornie Rus and Mrs. Andrew Boon, both of Rock Valley and Mrs. Herman Rus of Armour, SD, and 18 grandchildren.
