Hawarden Independent, June 12, 1952

Roger Dale, 11 months old son of Mr. & Mrs. Gilbert Wallenburg of Ireton, died last Thursday in the Hawarden hospital. The child had suffered from a heart ailment following a siege of pneumonia.

Funeral services were held at 1 o'clock, Saturday afternoon at the Frazier Funeral Home and at 1:30 at the Christian Reformed Church with Rev. J. Cupido in charge. Interment was in Grace Hill cemetery.

Roger Dale was born July 1, 1951. Besides his parents he is survived by a brother Gary Dean; his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Ring Wallenburg of Rock Valley and Mrs. Gerrit Regnerus of Hull, and his great-grandmother, Mrs. Case Shelling of Sioux Center.
