Sioux Center News, March 28, 1946

Harry Wallinga, farmer living north of Hull died at the Hull hospital Friday, March 22nd, after a week's illness caused by a brain tumor. Funeral services were held Monday, March 25 at the First Reformed Church, in Hull, Rev. Bovenkerk officiating.

Born in Sioux Center, he spent all his adult years as a farmer in this county. He married Grace Shaffer on December 11, 1917, and is survived by her and the following children: Harold who returned Oct. 31, 1945 from three years in the service, Mrs. Anna May Bos, Henry, Donald and Arnold all of Hull. One grandchild, two brothers, Henry of Doon and Dr. John Wallinga of St. Paul also survive.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister who died at the age of 10, and one brother Peter who died in November, 1937.

He was a member of the American Reformed Church of Hull.
