Arthur Elmitt, 70, of Chadron, Nebr. and a former Hawarden resident died at a Nursing Home on July 25, 1973.

Elmitt was born on Feb. 6, 1903. He worked for Chicago and Northwestern Railroad until the shop was closed down here and then he went to Chadron to work in the shops there. He left here in 1941.

Survivors include: his wife, Mildred; two daughters; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Sam Blair of Hawarden. Mrs. Mildred Elmitt's address is Box 743, Chadron, Neb.
