Mr. Onne Eppinga was born in 1868 at Beetgun Maalen, Friesland, Netherlands, and came to the United States in 1892. He lived in New Holland, Illinois, for one year and then came to Hull, Iowa, where he made his home for the remainder of his life.

In 1899 he was married to Eunice Nooteboom and they lived on a farm near Hull until a year ago when they moved into town to live with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Imanse. He passed away Tuesday, May 1, 1951.

Funeral services were held on Friday from the Imanse home and from the local Christian Reformed Church, in charge of Rev. G. J. Haan. Interment was in Hope cemetery.

He leaves to mourn his death, his wife and two children: Mrs. Anthony Imanse and Jake Eppinga, the latter living in Arizona for his health; and three grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Ryn Fylstra of Hull; and two brothers, Jake of Rock Valley and Andrew of Hull, also survive. A sister, Mrs. John Zondervan of Prinsburg, Minnesota, preceded him in death a year ago.

Those who came here for the funeral from Minnesota were Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit John Van Dyk of Prinsburg; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Zondervan and two boys, John and Henry of Emden; and Mr. and Mrs. Charley De Vries of Lake Silvan.
