Clarence J. Mol, 87, of Sioux Center, died Monday, Dec 19, 1994 at the Sioux Center Community Health Center.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 21 at 1:30 p.m. at Central Reformed Church, Sioux Center. Rev. Dennis Wilcox officiated. Interment was in Memoray Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home, Sioux Center.

Clarence was born Jan 1, 1907 to Johannes and Aartje (Vierhout) Mol in Nunspeet, The Netherlands. At age three the family moved to the United States. He attended country school through the eighth grade. Clarernce worked for some area farmers for several years. He worked for Wandscheer Mfg from 1940-68. He was in the U.s. Army during World War II from April 1942 to September 1945. Later he worked for De Groot Plumbing and Schouten Plumbing. He attended Central Reformed Church in Sioux Center. Mr. Mol was a member of the American Legion Post 199 in Sioux Center. Woodworking and traveling were among his favorite pasttimes

Survivors include two sister, Jeanette Van Holland and Jo(Johanna) Mol both of Sioux Center; two nieces; three nephew; and their spouses and families. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Tillie Pluim and Henrietta De Ryke Kutchenwriter, and a brother, Lawrence
