After a painful illness of many months, Mrs. E. Dykhuizen was relieved from her suffering by death early Friday Morning. The funeral took place Saturday afternoon when a large number of mourners followed the remains to their final resting place. Mr.s Dykhuizen was highly esteemed by all who knew her and now mourn her departure.
(She is listed in the Sioux county cemetery index as Johanna Schipper b. 2 Nov 1840 died 11 Jun 1897, her parents were Johannes Schipper and Aaltje Visch. However her husband Egbert Dykhuizen is not listed in the index. He was listed in the 1895 census as 58 years born about 1837 in the Netherlands. No children were readily found)
