Sioux Center, Iowa. Family prayer service at 1:15 p.m.

Hattie Vande Kamp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert (Minnie Hubers) Gerritsen, Sr., was born December 8, 1902 in Sioux Center, Iowa. She lived her youth in the Sioux Center area and attended country school there.
Hattie was united in marriage to Gerrit Vande Kamp, Jr. on January 24, 1924. After their marriage theyfarmed nearSioux Center. Mr. Vande Kamp passed away on January 17, 1978. Hattie was a life-long member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church and also a member of the Sunshine Circle.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Gerald and Delores of Hardwick, Minnesota; seven daughters and six sons-in-law: Mrs. Asa(Wilhelmina) Kraayenbrink of Hull, Iowa; Margaret Meendering of Sioux Center, Iowa; Mrs. Donald (Alvina) Punt of Sioux Center, Iowa; Mrs. Harold (Henrietta) Sneller of Orange City, Iowa; Mrs. Lloyd (Gracia) Punt of Pipestone, Minnesota; Mrs. Edwin (Helen) Mulder of Munster, Indiana; Mrs. Don (Gertrude) Vos of Ripon, California; twenty-nine grandchildren; forty-seven great-grandchildren; four sisters: Anna Roelofs of Ontario California; Mrs. Henry (Harriet) Dnesen of Hull, Iowa; Mrs. John (Nellie) Driesen of Rock Valley, Iowa; and Mrs. Loule (Winnie) Wielenga of Orange City, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Gerrit, three sisters, five brothers and a son-in-law, John Meendering.
