Lester Kooiman, 33, of Denver, CO. formerly of Leota, MN died suddenly Monday morning after having surgery.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 PM in the Christian Reformed Church in Leota, MN.
He was born February 26, 1933 at Edgerton, MN to Herman and Leona Kooiman. He was united in marriage to Elaine Smit, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smit of Hospers on June 26, 1959 at Hospers, Ia.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; 4 sons: Loren, Daryl,Kenneth, and Arlan; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
