Bethel Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center, Iowa.

Grace, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Vande Kamp, was born December 8, 1897 at Oldebroek, Netherlands. She lived her youth and attended school in Oldebroek. She came to live in the United States in 1909.
She was united in marriage to Jake Hoogland of Sioux Center on November 30, 1917 at Middleburg, Iowa. They lived in Orange City, Sioux Center, Boyden and then retired in Sioux Center. He passed away in April of 1980.
She was a member of the Bethel Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center and a former member of the Ora Et Labora Society.
Grace passed away at the Sioux Center Health Care Center on October 22, 1987 at the age of eighty-nine years, ten months and fourteen days.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John H. (Alice) Nibbelink of Orange City, Iowa; three sons: Alfred J. of Orange City, Iowa; Gerrit of Loveland, Colorado; and Peter of Maurice, Iowa; twenty-two grandchildren; sixty-five great- grandchildren; and two brothers: George of Orange City, Iowa; and Albert of Sioux Center, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake; her daughter, Margaret Rens; one greatgranddaughter, two sisters and one brother.

Grace Hoogland
Grace Hoogland, 89, of SiouxCenter, died Thursday, October 22, in the Sioux Center hospital.
Services were,.l:30p.m. Monday, October 26, at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center.
The Rev, Duane Tinklenberg officiated.
Born Grace Vande Kamp on December 8,1897, in Oldebroek, The Netherlands, she lived her youth and attended school in The Netherlands and came to the United States in l909. She married Jake Hoogland November 30, 1917 at Middleburg.
The couple farmed near Orange City, Sioux Center and Boyden, before retiring to Sioux,Center, He died in April 1980.
She was a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church and a former member of the Ora Er Labora Society. Survivors include three sons, Alfred J. of Orange City, Gerrit of Loveland, CO., and Peter of Maurice; a daughter, Alice Nibbelink of Orange City; two brothers, George of Orange City and Albert of Sioux Center; 22 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren.
