The sad news of the death of Mrs. J. W. Boggess at Alvord, Iowa, was received in Hull last Saturday morning. The remains were brought to Hull Monday and were laid to rest beside those of her husband who was buried here February 9th, 1905. The INDEX extends sincere sympathy to the sorrwing relatives.
OBITUARY
Mary J. Kenyon was born December 1846 in Schenectedady, New York. She came weat with her parents when 2 years old, and settled at Albert
Lea, Minnesota. She was married to John W. Boggess July 9, 1863 at Bristol, Minnesota She was an early settler of Hull, having moved here in January 1881, in ear[y youth she united with the Christian ehurch and remained faithful member to the end. She was the mother of 10 children eight of whom survive her, they are: Mrs. Chas. H. Ballard, of Long Beach. California; W. J. Boggess, of Rock Valley, Iowa; Mrs. F. M. Hatch, of Chicago, Illinois; L. J. Boggess, of Inwood, Iowa; Alma J. Home, of Chico, California; Mrs. W.H. Snyder, of Hull, Iowa; Mrs. F. F. Schemmer, of Belvidere, South Dakota and Mrs. W. P. Page, of Alvord, Iowa.
