Mr.Art Eenkhoorn ,36, died at his home Wednesday evening following a lingering illness.

Art was born in Kamperveen, Netherlands on June 19, 1904. He came to this country with his parents, brother and sisters at the age of ten years. On February 22, 1928 at Sioux Center he married to Miss Henrietta Vander Grift and to this union 2 children were born. A sister, Mrs. John Ter Haar preceded him in death, she passed away on Huly 10, 1936.

He is survived by his widow and two children, Christina eight years of age and Jeanette five years of age. His parents Mr. and Mrs. Wessel Eenkhoorn of Hull, and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Jacob Van Hatten of Rock Valley, Mrs. Henry Evink of Bellflower, Calif, Mrs. Henry Wynia of Doon, Mrs. Chas De Jongh of Boyden, Ben of Hull, Mrs. Peter Proper and Wessel jr. both of Bellflower, Calif. Art was engaged in the work of draying. He was a kind and devoted husband and father to his family and a good neighbor.

Funeral service were held Monday March 17th at 1:00 p.m. from the home and at 1:30 p.m. from the Second Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Mr. M. Keuning officated, Burial was in the Sioux Center cemetery
