From the Sioux Center News of May 13, 1992. Couple died within hours of each other.

Inez Heemstra
Cyrus H. Heemstra, 88, and Inez Heemstra, 79, of Sioux Center, died Friday, Cyrus at a Sioux City Hospital and Inez at the Sioux Center
Community Hospital. Memorial services were Monday at Central Reformed Church In Sioux
Center, the Rev. Dennis Wilcox officiating.
There was a private committal service at Memory Gardens Cemetery In Sioux Center.
Cyrus Heemstra was born July 2, 1903, in Orange City, the son of Albert and Anna Spaan Heemstra. Inez Heemstra was born on January 31, 1913, in Sioux Center, the daughter of John and Eugenie Hammond De Gooyer. They were married on July 7,
1943 at Sioux Center. He owned and operated Heemstra's Meat Market for many years In Sioux Center. She worked as a secretary at Sioux Center
High School.
Inez Heemstra was a member of the Sioux Center Arts Council. Both were members of Central Reformed Church.
Survivors Include a son and his wife, Kenneth and Jan McMurray Of Marlon: three daughters and their husbands, Glen and Audrey McMurray Van Roekel of Le Mars. Hector and Linda Heemstra Sanchez of Panama and Jim and Diane Heemstra Kavanaugh of Stamford, Connecticut; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He is survived by a brother. Albert Heemstra, of Orange City, and was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
She is survived by two brothers, Marvin De Gooyer of Sacramento, California, and Donald De Gooyer of Sioux Center, and was preceded in
death by an infant son; a daughter, Marceline McMurray Larson; and a sister.
