DEATH OF MRS. W. J, POST
Mrs. W. J. Post, whose passing was briefly mentioned in last week's Bee, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. G. Vugteveen, last week
Wednesday night, aged seventy-four years, ftve months and sixteen days.
Mrs. Post had been sick for about six weeks with cancer and other complications.
For the past few months she had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. W. G. Vugteveen.
The sulbject of this sketch was born in Oost, Friesland, October 7, 1857,where she grew to womanhood. She was married there to Mr. W. J. Post. She came with her husband to this country in 1885 and lived in this vicinity the greater part of the time since. Her husband died nineteen years ago.
Mrs. Post was the mother of fifteen children, seven of whom have preceded her in death. The living children are, Mrs. G. Tilstra of Fairview, S. D.; Dick Post, Rock Valley; Mrs. Adam Burma, Argentine, Calif.; Mrs. W. G. Vugteveen, Rock Valley; Peter Post, Rock Valley; Mrs. Case Noteboom, Inwood; Mrs. Henry Vander Kamp, Hollandale, Minn.; and James Post, Chandler, Minn.
Funeral services were held in the Christian Reformed church in Rock
Valley Saturday, Rev. J. Gritter having charge of the services, and the
remains were taken to Valley View Cemetery for burial.

Neth. came to USA in 1885 living in Orange City 1995 and 1900 census, moved to Rock Valley. They had children - Dirk, Jentje, Trijntje, Nieske, Susie, Jennie, Peter, Sarah, Sadie and Nellie.)
