Pauline "Polly" Eckley,83,died Friday, March 22, 2002 at the Colonial Manor of Hudson. Funeral services was Monday at Anderson Funeral Home in Canton, with burial at Lands Lutheran Cemetery.

Annie Pauline Eckley was born Oct. 28, 1918 at Cornersville,Tenn, the daughter of Ollie and Regina Wilkes. She grew up and received her formal education at Lewisburg Tenn. She was baptized at the First Basptist Church in Lewisburg, where she taught Sunday School, served as Director and Chancellor of youth activites, and was active with Missionary Soiciety work. She Married Cyrus Eckley of Hudson, SD. on March 3, 1946 in Lewisburg. They farmed near hudson for 34 years. Following the death of Mr. Eckley on June 19, 1980 she remained on the family farm until becoming a resident at Colonial Manor in November of 2001.

Survivors include; nieces, Sharon Dominisee of Hudson, Dorothy Knutson of Sioux Falls, Charlotte Rodway of Canton; nephews in Tennessee; special great and great-great nieces and nephews
