Reports arrived here Wednesday that Mrs. Post formerly of this place had died at herhome near Lebanon, Missouri.
(1900 census of Lebanon MO recorded father John Post born Nov 1856 Netherlands children were John 1885 b.IA; Nellie 1888 b.IA; Jennie 1891 b. IA; Henry b.1895 MO; Gert b. Dec 1896 MO.
Also found the marriage in Sioux County Marriage Register page 22. Jan Post 28 born Neth. a farmer from Orange City IA, son of Jan Post and Niesje Post, married Tuentje Roetman (spelled Roedman in record) 21 years dau of Lambert Roetman and Jantje Last (mispelled Laard in record) married Feb 1, 1884 Orange City IA.)
