Last Thursday night Tony De Groot was the victim of a strange accident when hurt in a friendly scuttle with Marvin Van Andel. In some reason a bundle of mail tossed by Marvin hit the pipe which Tony had in his mouth and knocked the pipe into Tony tongue, piercing the tongue that it was necessary later to have some stitches taken. The side of his mouth was injured and caused great inconvenience in eating and talking. Arie De Groot has been delivery the mail from the depot to the post office this week as Tony has been unable to be down at his place of business having been confined to his home.
