Paul Dyke,84,of Sheldon died Wednesday,June 5, 1991 at the Sheldon Hospital. Services were held Saturday, June 8, at Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon. Dr.Bruce Ursin officiated. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon.

Mr. Dyke was born Feb.3 1907 in Hospers the son of W.L and Anna (Dykstra) Dyke. He graduate from Sheldon High School in 1925 and attended Iowa State University at Ames. He was a mail carrier for the Sheldon Post Office for 38 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife Helen; a daughter Gretchen Dyke of Eden Prairie,Minn.;four sons and their wives, David and Betsy of Great Falls,VA., Bruce and Barbara of Ventura, Calif., Steven and Jane of Oklahoma, and Jeff and Joan of Golden, Colo.; three sisters Mrs. Dorothy Lupelow, Mrs. Marian Collinan and Mrs. Ramona Freeman, all of St. Paul, Minn,;and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter , Sheelagh; three brothers, three sisters, two half sistert and one half brother.
