Edward L. Dealy, 57, of the E. L. and J. L. Dealy real estate firm of Sioux City, died of a stroke last Friday afternoon at his home.

Edward L. Dealy was born at Ireton, Jan. 31, 1884, and later came to Hawarden with his family. He had resided in Sioux City since 1911. He was a member of the Cathedral of Epiphany. He belonged to the Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, a stepson, Sgt. Lloyd White, Little Rock, Ark., a sister Mrs. Ethel Lynott of Sioux City, four brothers, William, Dr. D. M., and Joseph Dealy of Sioux City and Frank of Spokane, Wash. and six nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 Monday morning in the O'Toole-Gunn Chapel. Burial was at Maurice.

Miss Loretta and Emmet Lynott and Mr. & Mrs. M. M. McNally of Hawarden attended the services.
