Last Rites Held For Michael J. Cullinan
Funeral services were held for Michael J. Cullinaa, 69, of rural Rock Valley, on Tuesday,
December 16. 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic church with Rev. Richard E. Zenk and
Rev. William Warbag officiating. Rosary was recited at 8 8:00 p. m. on Tuesday, December
16. at the Porter Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Robert Doherty. Jerry Haas. Ralph Hauser, Claire Berry, Anthony Gacke, and Walter McNamara. Honorary pallbearers were
Clarence Flanagen, Paul Berry, Joe Hevern, Stanley McKeegan, Theodore Dykstra and Milton
D. Swier.
Military burial rites were in tne St. Mary's catholic cemetery under the direction of
Porter Funeral Home.
Mr. Cullinan died Saturday, December 13 at an Implement shop in Rock Valley following
an apparent heart attack. Michael Cullinan was born March 8, 1900 in Rock Valley,
He served in World War II and has been a life long resident and farmer in this area.
Survivors are four brothers, Thomas of LeMan, John and Francis of Rock Valley, and
Martin of Doon; one sister, Miss Josie Cullinan of Rock Valley.
