Funeral services were held at the American
Raformed Church In Orange City at 1:30 P.M. Friday, February 16, for Mrs. William Carr, 83, of Orange City who died at the Orange City Hospital, February 14.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Eldon A. Hook and burial was in Oskaloosa on February 17.
The former Delia Hilton was born November 21, 1889, in Missouri. She was married to William H. Carr October 21, 1913, in Des Moines.
After their marriage, the couple moved to Cedar Rapids where he was in the wholesale business for 30 years. He died In May of 1955 in Cedar Rapids.
She moved to Orange City after his death.
Survivors include a son, Warren H., of New Jersey; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) M. Dunlop, of Orange City; four grandchildren, a great grandchild and four, sisters.
