Mrs. Eric Bjork, 96, Alcester, died Aug. 18 at a Hawarden hospital.

Services were at 2 p.m., Aug. 20 at the Alcester Baptist Church. The Rev. Robert Toren officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Alcester under direction of the Wass Funeral Home of Alcester.

Mrs. Bjork, the former Maggie Mannary, was born March 27, 1897 in Canistota, SD. She was married to August Johnson, March 27, 1900, in Alcester. He died March 12, 1910. She was married to Mr. Bjork, Sept. 19, 1912 in Alcester. He died Sept. 17, 1947.

She was a member of the Alcester Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Hongslo of Alcester, two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
