Death of George Moehlman's Mother.
Mrs. Meta Moehlman, 72, well known former Plymouth county resident, passed away last Wednesday, June 8th, at her farm home near Blackwell, Okla., following a brief illness.
The remains were brought to LeMars where funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church, Rev. F. A. Meske of Akron officiating.
Theda Erks. was born Feb. 4, 1866, in Germany where she received her education and grew to young womaniood.
When 21 years of age she came to America, locating in Plymouth county. She was married to Albert Moehlman April 27, 1889, and for a few years following their marriage they farmed in Plymouth county. In 1894 they moved to Lockwood, Mo., to farm and in 1904 they moved to Oklahoma.
Her. husband preceded-her in death 13 years. She is survived by one son, George Moehlman, who resides southeast of Hawarden, and three daughters, Mrs. H. A. Koppert of LeMars, Miss Meta and Miss Amelia Moehlman of Blackwell, Okla. There are seven grandchildren. One brother, Henry Erks of Seattle, Wash., also survives her.
