Funeral services were held at First Christian Reformed Church here November 20 for Mrs. Abraham (Jennie) De Groot,83, who died here November 18.

Services were conducted by Dr. Peter De Jong and burial was in Memory Gardens cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.

Mrs. De Groot, the former Jennie Koel, was born in The Netherlands October 29, 1890. She was married January 4, 1912, at Carmel. Mr. De Groot preceded her in death on June 1, 1957.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Albert (Jacoba) De Weerd of Woodstock, Minn., Mrs. Richard (Anna) Krone of Sioux Center, Mrs. William (Maria) De Weerd of Hudson, SD., Mrs. Ben (Lena) Fedders of Sioux Center, Mrs. Edwin (Gertrude) Vis of Hull and Mrs. Norman (Edna) Vander Broek of Maujrice; four sons, Henry of Jension, Mich. Cornie and John both of Alton, and Abraham, Jr. of Sheldon; two brothers, Edward of Edgerton, Wisc. and John of Rockl Rapids , two sisters, Mrs. Art Van Ravenhorst and Mrs.Neal Schuller, both of Sioux Center; 46 grandchildren and 36 Great grandchildren
