Earl J. Steinhoff,48, of Lamar Colo., died Aug. 3, 2003. Funeral services was Aug. 5 at St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Tony Wojoinski officiciating. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Ipswich, SD on Aug. 6.

Earl J. Steinhoff was born May 25, 1955 at Ipswich. He was the administrator of the Hawarden Community Hospital from 1985 to 1991.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; children, Jonathan and Emily; sisters. Bev Johnson of Omaha, Jane Weisenburger of Aberdeen, and Ruth Sladek of Omaha. He was preceded in death by his parents. Verne and Angeline(Geffre) Steinhoff; and a niece Stephanie Johnson
