Mrs. James Mitchell, 89, Hawarden, died Saturday, March 14 at her home. Her body was found Tuesday.
Services were at 1:30 Friday in the Dow Funeral Home. the Rev. Dr. Heston Milligan officated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell, the former Florence Anderson, was born Jan 19, 1892 at Hawarden.
She was married to Ralph Moyers in May 1924. They made their home in Sioux City. He died in October of 1933.
She was a member of the Associated church at Hawarden, the american Legion Auxiliary and the Mothers Club.
Survivors include a son Mahlon Moyers of Auburn WA; a sister Mrs. Evely Lawton of Topeka KS; and four step children in California.
