Josephine De Raad Formerly of Ireton Dies at Sioux City.
Ireton- Word was recieved here of the death of Miss Josephine DeRaad of Sioux City, who was a former local resident. She died Wednesday evening, following an operation performed at St. Joseph's hospital.
Miss De Raad was born at Ireton the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. DeRaad. She lived on a farm in this vicinity, and later accompanied her mother and sisters to Sioux City where she has since that time made her home. Survivors include her mother, five sisters, Gertrude, Arminta, Winifred, Irene and Grace, all of Sioux City one brother, Alvin, of Ireton, and three nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Emerson Funeral home at Sioux City, with interment at Pleasant Hill cemetery, at Ireton.
