Warren B. 'Bing' Miller, 78, of Hawarden, died Firday, Jan 18, 2002 at Morningside Manor Nursing Home in Alcester. Funeral service was Monday at the Associated Church in Hawarden with Pastor Char Fillingsness officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden. Porter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Warren Miller was born Feb. 25, 1923 in Hawarden, to Robert Charles and Rella Eugenia Boisseau Miller. He attended rural Mlller School district #35 in Union County and Hawarden High School. He married Ione Pederson on Dec 23, 1945 at Garretson, SD. He farmed with his father on the Miller homestead, which has been in the family since 1874. They retired and moved to Hawarden in 1986. He was a member of the Associated Chruch in Hawarden, he served on the Miller School District School Board. He servied as Virginia township supervior for several years.
Survivors include: wife Ione, son Larry of Edmond OK, daughter Marcie DeVries of Walker MN, two grand children and one great grandson.
