From the Hawarden Independent of July 16, 1925
Death of Mrs. Albert Miller
Passed away July 4 at Gary IN., after operation.
Resided in this community for about ten years. Leaves Husband and one Daughter.
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Albert M. Miller, former well know resident of Hawarden and McNally, which occurred at a hopsital at Gary, Ind., on July 4th following an operation for appendicitis to which she submitted a day or two before. Funeral services were held at Gary and interment was made at that place.
Ethel Besy was born in Missouri thirty-seven years ago. She was untied in marriage with Albert M. Miller in North Dakota in 1910 and they made their home there for several years, later moving to Hawarden. About 1918 Mr. Miller purchased the general store at McNally and they lived there for three or four years. After disposing of this business they moved to Indicana and have resided at LaFayette and Gary since then. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Lois ages 11 years. One child died in infancy. She also leaves her parents, who reside at LaFayette, Ind. besides three brothers and one sister. Mr. Miller had not been in robust health for a number of years and did not possess sufficient viality to combat the complications resulting from her operation. Mrs. Miller had a host of friends in this community who will learn of her death with deepest sorrow and will extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family.
