Albert Moehlmann, 56, Chatsworth, died Friday, Nov. 22 at a Sioux City hospital after an illness of a week.

Services were held Tuesday, Nov. 26 in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Chatsworth, with Rev. Durwood Clauson officiating. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery at Akron under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron.

Mr. Moehlmann was born Aug. 10, 1918, in Plymouth County. He married Violet Mangelsen, March 18, 1940, at Mapleton. They farmed in the Chatsworth area until 1952 when they moved into Chatsworth. Mr. Moehlmann had been in the trucking business since 1952.

Casketbearers were Delmar Gerrietts, Cal Robertson, Stuart Harris, Warren Wasser, Peter Anderson, Walter Westergard.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Gary of Cherokee; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Carol) Buchman of Hawarden; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. George Moehlmann of Chatsworth; two sisters,, Mrs. Richard (Edity) Packard of Chatsworth and Miss Eileen Moehlmann of Chatsworth, and five grandchildren.
