Mrs. George Hartman, 61, rural Hawarden, died Nov. 11 at an Akron Hospital. Services were at 1:30 P.M., Nov. 13 at the American Lutheran Church with the Rev. James Sandvik officiating. Burial in Grace Hill Cemetery was under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hartman, the former Lula Rohlfs, was born Jan. 22, 1913, in Preston Township, Plymouth County. She was married Jan. 22, 1935 at Akron and the couple lived near Hawarden all their married life. She was a member of the American Lutheran Church.

Survivors include the widower; a son, Wilbur of Hawarden; three brothers, Walter Rohlfs of Sioux City, Roland Rohlfs of Akron and Alvin Rohlfs of Hawarden, and five grandchildren.
