Mrs. Orlen Liston, 74, of Hawarden died Dec. 7 at the Hawarden Hospital.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Dec. 10 at the Associated Church with the Rev. Herbert Young officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Liston, the former Tena C. Jager, was born April 17, 1901 near Maurice. She was married July 5, 1923, in Sioux City. She lived in the Hawarden area all her married life. Her husband died Sept. 6, 1960.

She was a amember of the Associated Church, its Women's Fellowship and the Mothers Club of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Ray (Vivian) Finch, Mrs. Lawrence (Neva) Busch, Mrs. Ray (Darlene) Rummel and Mrs. James (Cindy) McKee, all of Hawarden, Mrs. Harold (Myra) Heuer of Rock Valley and Mrs. Lloyd (Betty) Gronemeyer of Cherokee; 11 sons, Lee and Lloyd, both of Ireton, Daryl of Welcome, MN. Howard of Chatsworth, Wesley of Capron, IL; Duane, Lawrence, James, Roger and Dick, all of Hawarden, and Norman of St. Paul, MN; two brothers, Al Jager of Hawarden and Dick Jager of Piqua, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie McPherson of Hawarden and Mrs. Emma Tanner of Hayti, MO; 54 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
