Miss Marian Mallette, 68, died Friday in a LeMars Hospital following an apparent heart attack.

Graveside services were at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday in the LeMars Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Everett Staats officiated.

A prayer service was conducted at 8 P.M., Monday in the Mauer Funeral Home at LeMars.

Miss Mallette was born Sept. 22, 1908, at Lakeview. She came to LeMars at age 9. In 1938 she moved to California for 25 years, returning to LeMars in 1963.

Survivors include four brothers, Earl of Hawarden, Verne of Northport, Fla., Charles of Curtain, Ore. and Ross of LeMars and a sister, Mrs. Lyndall (Alice) Bowers of LeMars.
