Mrs. Leo K. Doty, 64, of Hawarden died November 20 at a Sioux Falls, SD hospital of a long illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., November 25 in the United Methodist Church. The Rev. Herbert Gould officiated. Burial was in the Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Doty, the former Josephine V. Woods, was born April 29, 1911 near Merrill. She was married to Leo "Bud" Doty in 1934 in Sioux City. Mr. Doty died June 3, 1955.

She attended the Ellis School of Cosmetology in Sioux City, and was employed as a beautician in Hawarden from 1957 until 1972, when she retired because of ill health.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth of Sioux Falls, Clifford of Loomis, Calif., and Nicholas of Van Nuys, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Myra) Weyer of Hawarden; 19 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. J. A. (Eva) Easton of Merrill, and Mrs. Bill (Nettie) Schwiesow of Culver City, Calif.; and a brother, Emerson of Illinois.
