Hartman, Milo F. - 1916-1975

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 18 at the American Lutheran Church at Cozad, Nebraska for Milo F. Hartman. Pastor Robert H. Eller officiated.

Milo Hartman joined the Hawarden Police Force Department in 1954 and served five years as Chief of Police.

Mr. Hartman was born December 14, 1916, at Alcester, South Dakota. He was married to Helen Elaine Wendel on September 19, 1947 in Kingman, Arizona. To this union 4 children were born: Dorothy, Jacqueline, James and Steven. He has one son, Jerry, by a previous marriage.

After leaving Hawarden, Milo established shoe repair shops in Sibley and Hartley and in 1972 his family moved to North Platte, Nebraska where he worked as a shoe repairman until 1973, when he became disabled from an illness. His family moved to Cozad in 1974 and he worked as a part-time dispatcher for the Cozad Police Department.

The family now resides at 801 East 6th, Cozad, Nebraska.
