GERTRUDE WEBERT OBERMOLLER. age 82. passed away July 22. 1999. at her home in Worthington. MN. Gertrude was born to Lambert and Annie (Van Muyden) Van Wyhe on November 21, 1916. near McNally, IA. She attended rural school by McNally. She married Ordeari Webert, October 15, 1940, at Sioux City. IA.
Gertrude lived on a farm in the McNally area and for a time in the Akron area. After marriage, she and Ordean lived north of Ireton and in 1958 they moved to a farm by Reading. They retired to Worthington in 1980. She married Raymond Obermoller May 5, 1991. in Worthington. They lived in Worthington until the time of her death.
Gertrude worked with her husband, Ordean in the farming operation. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, crocheting, and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband. Ray; two daughters, Ardis (Leon) Collins. Lake Park. IA, and Orleen (Gary) Grimmius. St. Cloud: two step-sons. Larry (Judy) Obermoller. Okoboji, IA, and Jerry (Deb) Obermoller. Worthington; two step-daughters. Rena Springer, Northtield. and Joy (Michael) Knorr. Fulda: and one step daughter-in-law, Connie (Lyle) Voss. Worthington: four brothers, Gordon (Kathleen) Van W~he. Ireton, IA. Wayne (Jennie) Van W~he, Lester, IA. Duane (Helen) Van Wvhe, Rock Valley, IA, and Marliln (Darlene) Van Wyhe. Hawarden. IA:
three sisters. Margaret Vande Griend and Alice Moerman. both of Sioux Center, IA. and Esther Vande Hoef, Lu’~’erne: one grandson. Kenneth (Pam) Collins; four granddaughters, Larinda (Rick) Hopkins. Laila (Don) Wolterman, Kelly (John) Ninnemann, and Gina Grimmius; 13 step grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents. her first husband, Ordean Webert; sister, Dorothy and her husband, Peter Vande Griend; and brothers-in-law, Dick Vande Griend, William Moerman, and Dick Vande Hoef.
