The body of James Brown of Omaha, a former well known resident of Hull, was shipped to Hull, last Saturday, and laid to rest in the family lot in Hope Cemetery the same afternoon. Rev. C. Stoppels reading the burial rites.

James Brown was born at Linwood, Ontario, Canada in 1861 and died at Omaha, Nebraska, November 23, 1927, at the age of 66 years, after an illness of but a few days.

He was married in 1883 to Lillie Griffith and to this union 6 children were born, two dying in infancy.

The surviving children are: Eugene Brown of Wayne, Nebraska; Mrs. Hazel Smith of Brookings, South Dakota; Claire Hickathier of St. Thomas, North Dakota; and Clarence Hawkins of Detroit, Michigan. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters: Mrs. M. J. Hill of Brookings, South Dakota; Mrs. J. C. Vickers of Howard, South Dakota; George and William Brown of Brookings, South Dakota; and Charles of Oregon.

Sorrowing relatives and friends have the sincere sympathy of all the old time Hull friends.
