Garrett Ricklefs, 74, Ireton, died Jan. 24 in a Sheldon hospital. Services were at 10:30 a. m. Jan. 27 in St. Paul Lutheran Church of Ireton. The Rev. Arthur Anacker officiated. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery of Ireton with the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sheldon in charge

Mr. Ricklefs was born Dec. 30,1900, in Ireton. He married Grace Hartsock Oct. 16, 1937, in Deepwater, Mo.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Daniel and David, both of Storm Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Dorcas) Hartje of Storm Lake; six sisters, Mrs. Milton (Amanda) Dittmer and Mrs. Orville (Nora) Vlotho, both of Ireton, Mrs. Rosene O'Meara of Sioux City, Mrs. Delbert (Sophie) Dittmer of Chicago, Mrs. Ed (Florence) Kapehart of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Dolores Hartsock of Harrisonville, MO.; and four grandchildren.
