From the Alton Democrat of Dec 29, 1894 Granville news.
The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Kass was buried in the Catholic cemetery, Friday. The sympathy of the commuity goes ot the bereaved parents.
(this is believed to be a child of the Nicholas J. Kass family recorded in the Remsen area in 1900. Nicolas 1858-1946, wife Margaratha Hoffman1862-1895, other children Charles Kass, Elizabeth, Emma albert and Henry.)
