Burial in The Memory Gardens Cemetery, Sioux Center, Iowa on Thursday, July 17, 1975.
Gerrit W. Hulstein passed away Tuesday morning in Sioux Center at the age of 80 years. On December 24, 1935, in Maurice, he was united in marriage to Helen Beernink who now survives. To this union three children were born: Wilmer J. of Sioux Center; Roland J. of Omaha; and Glen H. of Sioux Center; He is also survived by seven grandchildren and the following brother and sisters: Hannes Huistein of Sioux Center; Johanna Hulstein of Sioux Center; and Reka, Mrs. Joe Horstman of Sioux Center. Three brothers preceded him in death. His passing is mourned by many friends and relatives.
