Jerrold Brown, 74, of Caro, Mich., died March 16, 2005 after a long battle with Lymphoma.
Jerry Brown was born May 3,1930 in Ireton, the son of Harley G. and Alma (Crouse) Brown. He graduated from Ireton High School in 1947. He was united in marriage to Minnie L. Windquist on Jan. 20, 1956 in Big Rapids, Mich. He spent four years serving his country in the U. S. Navy In 1960 he graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in vocational education. He taught Vocational Agriculture and. was chapter Transportation Director for the Caro Community School for seven years. After retirement in 1988 he worked as Bailiff in the Tuscola County Circuit Court, prepared taxes and served as guardian for several citizens in Tuacola County. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Caro.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie; three sons,Jeffery Brown of Bloomfield Township, Mich., Kevin W. Brown of New Canaan, Conn., and Bradley J. Brown of Caro; 11 grandchildren and sisters, Lois Brown of Florida and Lola Huber of Minneapolis, Mimi.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Bushby and Wilma Groen; and brother, Wayne Brown.
