Francis Peterson Dies At Age 22

Funeral services for Francis Paul Peterson,22, of Alcester Otis Radio employee here, who died Sunday at a Sioux Falls hospital were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Nathaneal Lutheran church of Alcester, Rev. Alsen Bachman officiated with burial at the Alcester cemetery. A family services was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Nilson Funeral home at Alcester.

Mr. Peterson was born September 13, 1942 at Hudson SD. He was graduated from Alcester high school in 1960. He was married to the former Leota Carpenter of Hawarden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Glenn Carpenter. Mr. Peterson addition to bring employed at Otis Radio assisted his father on the farm. For a short time he and his family were resident of Hawarden. He had undergone surgery about three weeks ago and apparently was recuperating when he became ill in his sleep at home and died shortly after arrival at the hospital.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Kimberly; a son David Francis; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Waldemar Peterson of rural Alcester; a sister Miss Lois Peterson of Sioux Falls, an his grandmother, Mrs. Alfred Peterson
