Funeral services for Teunis Van De Hoef,72, who died suddenly from a heart attack at his home near Ireton Sunday of last week, were held at 2 o'clock Thursday at the First Reformed church there. Rev. Steven Veldhuis officiated with burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery under the direction of the Barnard Funeral home.

Mr. Van De Hoef was born November 8, 1891, at Ede, The Netherlands. He came to the United State in 1913 and farmed in the Hawarden vicinity for many years. For the past several years he made his home near Ireton. He was married to Elizabeth Van Hofwegen of Hawarden in Hawarden in 1921. There were no children.
