April 28, 1972---January 1, 1994 Chad Brown, 21, of Hawarden died Saturday, January 1, in Lincoln County, South Dakota. Services were at the American Lutheran Church in Hawarden with the Rev. Karla Kirkeby officiating. Burial was at Grace Hill Cemetery. Brown was born on April 28, 1972., in Hawarden. He was graduated from West Sioux High School in 1990, where he was active in concert band, concert choir, men’s group, musicals and drama. He was currently attending the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.He was a member of SAE Fraternity and USD and the American Lutheran Church in Hawarden.Survivors are his parents, Kendall and Cathie (Johannsen) Brown of Hawarden: a sister, HolliJo Brown of Hawarden, a grandmother, Hope Brown of Hudson, South Dakota: .two uncles, Steve Brown and his wife, Renae, and Clinton Brown: and three aunts, Randee Daale and her husband, Pete, Jeanne Stanton and Roz Grimm and her husband, David: and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Brown, Donna Johannsen and Clarence Johannsen.
